Never sent a pull request before? Follow these steps and you will have one merged today.
Pick an issue
Open the Issues tab on GitHub and choose one labeled "good first issue" that you feel confident you can solve.
Fork the repository
Click the Fork button at the top right of the repo. This creates your own copy of the project under your account.
Clone your fork
Copy your fork's URL and run git clone on it to bring the code down to your machine.
Solve the issue
Create a new branch, make the code changes described in the issue, and commit your work with a clear message.
Push and open a pull request
Push your branch to your fork, then open a pull request back to the original repository.
Get merged and grow
Once your PR is reviewed and merged, it counts as a real contribution, shows on your GitHub activity graph, and adds hands-on practice and learning to your profile.
